The purpose of Anger Management is to provide a S.A.F.E. place for males to educate themselves and learn how to manage life's challenges and build effective ways to process anger. This group will help participants learn about self, how to process their emotions, identify the relation between thoughts, feelings, and actions, and learn how to manage triggers.
The desired outcome is to build confidence & self awareness, increase active listening, receive constructive feedback, learn skills to use in everyday life, and manage emotional regulation.

~Universality: At times adolescent feel their problems are unique which can lead to loneliness, engaging in group will allow teens to feel validated and understood.
~Sharing: Participant will learn how to effectively communicate their needs and build self-expression.
~Forming Relationships: Participants will be able to have positive social interactions and create a supportive bond.
~Social Skills: Participant will build skills in active listening, receive constructive feedback, identify healthy/unhealthy behaviors, and decrease feelings of vulnerability.
~Improve Self-Esteem: The participant will be able to build confidence by helping others and gaining insight into self.
~Improve Coping Skills: Participants will identify strategies to problem solve, learn effective decision making, and learn to incorporate the skills in their daily lives.
