Simply Amazing Family Environment, known as SAFE, is a mental health and counseling practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, children, teens, and families feel supported, heard, and understood.

Sereena Creamer, LPCC-S

Clinical Director

Sereena Creamer is a licensed mental health professional and the Clinical Director of Simply Amazing Family Environment (SAFE)—a holistic counseling practice dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families heal, grow, and thrive. With a deep passion for emotional wellness and relationship restoration, Sereena specializes in trauma-informed care, emotional intelligence, relationship healing, and navigating life’s most challenging transitions.

Sereena believes that healing begins in safe, supportive spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and evidence-informed, integrating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), motivational interviewing, and holistic wellness strategies that address the mind, body, and spirit.

As a clinician, Sereena is known for her compassionate presence, clinical insight, and ability to help clients turn pain into purpose. She works with individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and life stressors—guiding them toward emotional clarity, resilience, and sustainable healing.

Beyond the therapy room, Sereena is the voice behind the mental wellness platform and podcast She Heals Out Loud, where she engages in real conversations, education, and empowerment for individuals ready to break cycles, reclaim their voice, and prioritize emotional well-being. Through her work, she is committed to normalizing therapy, reducing stigma, and helping people heal out loud—without shame or silence.

Keyana Anderson, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Keyana Anderson is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with extensive clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families from a variety of cultural backgrounds. 

In her role as an outpatient therapist in the community mental health setting, Keyana has treated a range of mental health diagnoses in individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Her areas of expertise encompass suicidal and self-injurious behaviors, LGBTQIA+ related issues, behavioral and oppositional disorders, family dynamics, stress management, adjustment challenges, identity exploration, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, and crisis intervention. Keyana employs an evidence-based, person-centered approach, utilizing strength-based methods, mindfulness practices, solution-focused therapy, play therapy, and various other therapeutic modalities. She is passionate about empowering clients and helping them develop essential skills to enhance their lives. 

Keyana's laid-back, collaborative, warm, and interactive therapeutic style fosters a strong therapeutic alliance, which is essential for clients to reach their goals and pave the way to a healthier life. Dr. Suzanne Savickas, M.F.A., Ph.D., CRC, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Dr. Suzanne Savickas, M.F.A., Ph.D., CRC, LPCC holds a Ph.D. in Counseling and Human Development Services from Kent State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Poetics with a Concentration in Poetry from Naropa University. Additionally, she earned a Master’s of Education in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. In her career, she has worked in both the public and private sectors, helping clients with disabilities secure and maintain employment.

Dr. Savickas has been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Ohio since 2016, and has worked in the rehabilitation counseling field for the past twenty years. Her specialty lies in mental health and career counseling, utilizing the Life Design Paradigm, the Career Construction Interview, and My Career Story. As the Executive Director and core faculty of the Career Construction Network, she adopts an eclectic counseling approach, which incorporates Life Design, narrative therapy, Adlerian therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, along with creative interventions.

Dr. Savickas' areas of expertise cover career counseling, psychosocial impacts of disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, ADD/ADHD, OCD, chronic illness, chronic pain, adjustment disorders, mood disorders, depression, anxiety, grief/bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorders, adolescent issues (including substance abuse, identity formation, relationship management, and personality disorders), attachment issues, gender identity, sexual orientation issues, cultural concerns, spiritual counseling (focusing on Eastern Religions and Buddhism), and conflict management.

She integrates creative methods such as poetry therapy and music, along with meditation and mindfulness techniques for effective stress management. Suzanne also provides couple’s therapy, addressing relationship concerns, enhancing communication styles, managing conflict, and processing attachment issues. As a counselor, Dr. Savickas views the counseling process as a collaborative journey where the client is the expert of their life story. She works alongside clients to guide them as they explore aspects of their lives, including identity development, attachment issues, values, interests, goals, and potential fears or barriers. By integrating creative interventions, she helps clients uncover the themes within their narratives.

Suzanne acknowledges that both pain and joy are integral parts of the human experience, and her role as a counselor is to assist clients in finding meaning within this dichotomy. Taylor Turner, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science at The Ohio State University and is currently completing her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll University. 

She employs a person-centered approach to therapy and specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). With a passion for helping children, adolescents, and adults overcome challenges such as depression and anxiety, she utilizes various tools and resources designed to help clients gain the confidence to face life's obstacles.

Taylor works with individuals from all backgrounds and integrates multiple therapeutic approaches to ensure that each client receives the best treatment tailored to their unique journey.

Kat Burnett, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor

Kat Burnett is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is currently completing her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Philosophy at Allegheny College. 

Kat specializes in providing therapeutic support to children, teens, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance use, trauma, and self-esteem issues. She creates a safe, warm, and empathetic environment where clients can comfortably explore their difficulties and work on building confidence, self-love, and self-awareness. Kat employs an integrated therapeutic approach that combines Person-Centered Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, empowering clients to heal step-by-step and find long-lasting resolutions.

Dedicated to educating her clients about the therapeutic process, Kat teaches effective techniques and coping skills for problem-solving while fostering emotional strengths. Her goal is to equip individuals with practical skills and strategies they can apply in their everyday lives, promoting resilience and long-term well-being beyond the therapy sessions. Ebony Jones, LISW

Licensed Independent Social worker

Ebony Jones is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over 13 years of experience serving individuals and families in Northeastern Ohio. She is dedicated to creating a safe space for her clients.

With a strong background in community and office-based settings, Ebony has worked with individuals, couples, and families involved in foster care and adoption systems, as well as those dealing with chronic health issues and seeking mental health services.

She is well-trained in cognitive behavior therapy and trauma-informed therapy, understanding how our life experiences shape our development and daily lives.

Ebony believes there is no age limit to personal growth and has successfully assisted children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Her practice focuses on uncovering each person’s or couple's strengths and developing coping mechanisms to help them achieve their goals.

Frank Eaton, CDCA II

Chemical Dependency Counselor

Frank Eaton is a certified drug and alcohol counselor with ten years of experience in the Cleveland area, where he services disenfranchised youth and adults through a community-based organization.

He adopts a real-life approach to counseling that is tailored to each client’s specific needs and has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly those recovering from chemical dependency, mental illness, and criminal behavior. 

Frank is dedicated to helping people help themselves. He emphasizes an approach that integrates personal growth and self-empowerment with standard therapeutic practices, promoting a holistic view of mental, emotional, and physical health. 

In addition to offering individual substance use counseling, Frank also facilitates various groups, including the adolescent IOP group, adult IOP group, teen anger management group, and adult anger management group.

Joeanna Ruiz, LSW

Licensed Social Worker

Joeanna Ruiz is a Licensed Professional Social Worker who specializes in mental health therapy for children and adolescents, as well as parents and individuals facing emotional and relational challenges.

She provides compassionate, client-centered care for those dealing with depression, anxiety, family and parenting issues, behavioral health challenges, and relationship difficulties. 

With a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Joeanna's clinical work focuses on helping clients understand their emotions, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build emotional resilience. 

Having several years of experience working with individuals across the lifespan, Joeanna offers particular expertise in supporting children with disabilities and individuals on the autism spectrum.

Dashae Bure, LPCC

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor

Dashae Burge, LPCC (she/her) is an experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who works with clients ages 11 and older. She warmly welcomes individuals from all walks of life and is especially passionate about supporting military families, underserved communities, and those navigating difficult life circumstances.

Dashae helps clients work through trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addiction recovery, relationship challenges, life transitions, military family stress, and the emotional impact of having an incarcerated loved one. Her counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, down-to-earth, and authentic. Clients often appreciate that she “keeps it real” while creating a safe space to laugh, cry, reflect, heal, and grow.

Dashae uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strength-based therapy, trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based coping strategies, psychoeducation, and solution-focused interventions.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cleveland State University and her Master of Science in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Walden University.

Her background across outpatient counseling, residential treatment, telehealth, addiction recovery, private practice, and community-based mental health helps her support clients with warmth, insight, and practical tools for lasting change.
